"Great food. Good prices. Nice restaurant Degustatione menu is delicious, and so much food (5 types of fish just for aperitivo) the price is more than reasonable (50€/pers). Highly recommend The main reason we are in Pontevico is this restaurant."

"Un carissimo amico mi ha invitato a pranzo dicendomi di prepararmi ad un'esperienza stellata. Ci siamo passati a pranzo, di Mercoledì e subito l'ambiente ha catturato la mia attenzione. Non adoro il mobilio antico ma sistemato in questa osteria dove non ci sono due tavoli uguali o due set di sedie uguali mi ha affascinato. Dal menù scegliamo un primo ed un secondo tra 5 diversi offerti con l'aggiunta di un primo, un secondo e di un piatto unico del giorno a voce. Servizio impeccabile e veloce la qualità del cibo proposto e gli accostamenti scelti dallo chef lasciano senza parole. Quando poi il mio amico va a pagare il conto e spende un totale di 40 Euro il tutto sembra impossibile. Prenotare è un obbligo vista l'affluenza di persone e le dimensioni non esagerate del locale."

"We came off the motorway on our way to Piacenza and found this gem of a town, Pontevico and hoped we might find somewhere good to eat lunch. We couldn't have found a better place than Il Gambero. The food was divine, our waitress was lovely and spoke good English and the whole place was just beautiful. It's obvious it is run with tender loving care. We shall always remember it."

"Vengo spesso per pranzi di lavoro (oppure per cene ma più di rado). Ormai è diventato una garanzia, un posto di fiducia. Piatti ricercati e studiati, ed ingredienti di ottima qualità! Porzioni bilanciate, nella norma direi. Per i pranzi consiglio il risotto, sempre spettacolare e preso ripetutamente nel corso del tempo, o la misticanza di pesce cotta alla perfezione e super morbida. Per le cene invece il fritto o la grigliata di pesce (ho postato le foto di tutto ciò che consiglio). Prezzo ragionevole considerando la qualità delle materie prime! L’ambiente ha uno stile tutto suo, molto intimo, riservato ed elegante. Bagno pulito. Servizio alla mano, gentile, attento e discreto. Buoni i vini proposti e anche i dolci, particolari!"

"Locale caratteristico, intimo ma allo stesso tempo caldo e accogliente. Cibo di ottima qualità, lavorazione della materia prima complessa e non banale l’accostamento dei diversi sapori. Molto accurata la scelta del coperto. Il personale giovane ma professionale. Menù degustazione a 50€ che garantisce un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Incredibile la varietà degli antipasti. Consiglio vivamente!"
